Sutter Street Theatre holds auditions year-round for our Main Stage, Family Series, Off-Broadway Series, and Special Events. Actors of all ages and experience levels are encouraged to audition.

Our auditions take place at the Sutter Street Theatre Annex, 710 Figueroa Street, Folsom, CA 95630 unless otherwise noted.

General audition information

• What to Bring: A short prepared song (with backing track) for musicals, headshot & resume (if available), and a list of scheduling conflicts.

• Format: Most auditions include a vocal selection and a reading. Dance auditions may be required for musicals.

• Rehearsals: Typically evenings, 6:30–9:30 PM, with schedules varying by production.

• Performances: Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; some productions include special weekday performances.
