All of this provides the framework for some vivid and interesting scenes in which Mr. Vidal contrasts the minds, emotions and fighting spirits of the two candidates…”

All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the “miracle” of her web in which she writes, “Some pig.” It’s the beginning of a victorious campaign which ultimately ends with the now-safe Wilbur doing what is most important to Charlotte.

Papa Bear builds him a new, bigger bed as they talk about the coming birth of the new baby in the family. When Sister Bear arrives, Small Bear becomes Brother Bear and he finds, to his delight, that he won’t be lonely anymore. The Berenstain Bears and the Messy Room: All families have a messy room or two in the house. In the Berenstain Bears’ tree house, the cubs’ room is the messiest. Mama Bear decides it’s time for a major cleanup; comic conflict results, which is solved by Papa Bear’s neatness plan. The Berenstain Bears and the Double Dare: It’s hard to resist someone daring you to prove you’re not a chicken! Neighborhood bullies, Too Tall and his gang, put Brother on the spot by daring him to swipe one of Farmer Ben’s watermelons. Farmer Ben catches Brother in the act and gives him good advice about dealing with bad influences. The Berenstain Bears Tell the Truth: An impromptu game of soccer inside the Bears’ tree house results in one very broken lamp. Brother and Sister concoct a far-fetched story about a bird flying in the window and knocking the lamp over. Somehow, Papa and Mama Bear doubt this explanation. As the truth comes out, Brother and Sister learn that “no matter how you try, you can’t make truth out of a lie.” The Berenstain Bears Get Stage Fright: Sister Bear is selected to be the star of the Bear Country School production of Grizzlystiltskin. She is very nervous about her role and has trouble memorizing her lines. She practices and practices to get them right. Brother has no such problem—he is supremely confident. But on the night of the performance, Brother gets stage fright and forgets his lines while well-prepared Sister not only has her own part down pat but feeds Brother his lines as well.

Pom-Pom Zombies

Her all-American boyfriend, the beatniks, the nerds and the tough girl gang named the Barracudas rally their forces to save the beach from the atomic attackers. A sci-fi spoof of those beach blanket flicks of the ’60s, the score explodes with hilarious hits like “School’s Out,” “Don’t Touch the Hair,” “It’s Cool to Be a Nerd,” “My Girlfriend’s Dead (And I’m Gonna Be in Trouble),” “Voo-Doo Shoo-Be-Doo” and the dance craze, “Doin’ the Zombie.” The cast will have a blast and so will your audiences!

SYNOPSIS:
Puffs! (not a musical) is an adult parody spanning 7 years (in 90ish minutes) at a certain school that teaches magic.
The New York Times proclaims PUFFS, “A FAST-PACED ROMP through the ‘Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic.’ For POTTERphiliacs who grew up alongside Potter and are eager to revisit that world, ‘PUFFS’ exudes a jovial, winking fondness for all things Harry!” This clever and inventive play “never goes more than a minute without a laugh” (Nerdist) giving you a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of three potential heroes just trying to make it through a magic school that proves to be very dangerous for children. Alongside them are the Puffs, a group of well-meaning, loyal outsiders with a thing for badgers “who are so lovable and relatable, you’ll leave the theater wishing they were in the stories all along” (Hollywood Life). Their “hilariously heartfelt!” (Metro) and epic journey takes the classic story to new places and reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.
SEEKING: We are looking for 11 versatile actors in their late teens to 40s to play multiple roles. (5M/5W 1 either M/F) All roles are large roles – it is truly an ensemble cast.
