AUDITION NOTICE

 

When: Sunday, December 5 at 7:00pm at Sutter Street Theatre Annex, 710 Figueroa Street, Folsom.

Synopsis: This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as ‘the relationship’. Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage, while Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, “Say, what are you doing Saturday night?”   

What to Bring: A headshot and resume if you have them and prepare a song of 16 bars.  An accompanist will be provided so bring piano music or backing tracks on your phone or a CD.

Performance Dates: January 14 – February 14, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00pm and Sundays at 4:00pm.

Rehearsals: To be scheduled.

Characters:

Casting up to 6 people, 3 men and 3 women, ages 20 and up, should be good singers.

In order to audition for shows at Sutter Street Theatre you must have completed your Covid vaccinations and bring your proof of vaccination card to the audition.  Booster shots are encouraged but not required but the initial series must be completed.
