SYNOPSIS: The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow is fun and spooky, adapted from the classic story by Washington Irving and presented with all the thrills, chills and laughs that keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The storybook tale revolves around three main characters—the bumbling, awkward schoolteacher Ichabod, the coquettish Katrina, and Ichabod’s brutish rival Brom Bones. It even saves the best for last—the ride of the Headless Horseman. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is perfectly exciting family entertainment for the Halloween season!

The audition will consist of cold readings from the script. This is a non-musical.
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN:
Ichabod Crane: This role is precast.
Katrina Van Tassel: This role is precast.
Brom Bones (Male in his 20s-30s): Ichabod’s roaring, roistering rival.
Chorus/Ensemble (a minimum of 6, mid/late teens to young adults): The chorus never leaves the stage and keeps the play running as well as playing all the other characters (animals, ghosts etc.) in the play.
