Our adult classes invite performers of all levels to explore, grow, and enjoy the art of theatre in a welcoming environment. Whether you’re stepping into a studio for the first time or returning to sharpen your skills, each class is designed to build confidence, technique, and creativity. 

Musical Theatre Dance

Ages 16-18+
Mondays, 5:00–6:00 PM
Annex Rehearsal Studio, 710 Figueroa St

Join Broadway touring alum Jeannie Larson for an hour that’s part fitness, part musical theatre, and all fun. Each class blends technique with performance, giving students the chance to learn choreography from classic and contemporary Broadway musicals while also workshopping original dance numbers.

You’ll be introduced to a variety of styles, build a foundation in basic jazz dance technique, and strengthen both your confidence and stage presence—perfect preparation for auditions and future performance opportunities.

What to Bring:
Please wear dance attire. Jazz shoes and character shoes are both suitable. Bring water and a yoga mat or thick towel for floor work.

Tuition: $70/month (4 classes) or $25 per class

Private Acting Lessons with Allen Schmeltz

Ages: All ages
Schedule: Flexible – call or email to arrange a time
Tuition: $40 for a 30-minute lesson, $80 for a one-hour lesson

Looking to strengthen your acting skills or prepare for an important audition? Work one-on-one with Allen Schmeltz, an experienced acting coach and director, to develop your craft and gain confidence.

For students preparing for theatre or college auditions, Allen offers focused audition coaching at $80 for a one-hour session. Video recording of your audition is also available for an additional cost.
