Where young performers shine
At Sutter Street Theatre, our Summer Kids Workshops give children ages 7–12 the chance to explore the world of live theatre in a fun, supportive environment. With guidance from experienced instructors, kids build confidence, creativity, and teamwork—while learning acting, singing, and movement skills.
Every workshop ends with a fully staged production, giving young performers the thrill of stepping into the spotlight and sharing their hard work with a live audience. Whether your child is brand new to theatre or already loves the stage, our workshops create memories (and standing ovations) that last a lifetime.

“[We love] how they teach the kids to be professional and all about staying in character. My daughter absolutely loves doing this during the summer and we seen such a huge improvement in her singing, practicing and all around attitude. She comes home so excited and happy she made friends here.”
