SYNOPSIS:

A very special Friend-and-Relation tells Christopher Robin a story of a Christmas Eve very long ago (about last year) when Eeyore, the old gray donkey who lives by himself in the thistle corner of Hundred-Acre Wood, was absolutely miserable. He had lost his tail and Winnie-the-Pooh and Piglet got all of their friends and a search was organized. There is a great deal of fun and excitement, plus delightful songs, in the adventure that follows. The theme, which concerns caring, sharing and the importance of cultivating friends, makes this a very special and enchanting musical suitable for any occasion!

The audition will consist of singing and cold readings from the script. 

CHARACTERS:

All roles are open and available.

CHRISTOPHER ROBIN – A young boy and best friend of Winnie-The-Pooh.

WINNIE-THE-POOH – A bear of very little brain, but lots of heart.

PIGLET – A timid and diminutive pig.

EEYORE – A gloomy donkey who has lost his tail… again.

TIGGER – A bouncy, flouncy, trouncy, pouncy fun tiger who bounces on his tail to get around.

RABBIT – An intellectual, somewhat pessimistic rabbit, who values organization and order.

OWL – A wise and longwinded owl. Known for continuing a conversation, long after the other parties have left. 

KANGA – A warm and caring mother kangaroo. Mother to Roo.

ROO – A fun-loving, mischievous baby kangaroo.
